By purchasing an Apply UK service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Our services

Apply UK provides independent guidance to students and families considering higher education in the UK.

The specific service being purchased, including its scope, format, deliverables, price and any relevant timescales, will be clearly stated on our website, payment page, booking confirmation, invoice or other written communication before purchase.

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill.

2. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required before a session takes place or substantive work begins.

There will be no additional charges unless these have been explained and agreed in advance.

3. Block bookings

Where offered, clients may purchase a discounted block of advice sessions. The number of hours, price and saving will be clearly stated before purchase.

Unless otherwise agreed, block-booked hours must be used within 12 months of purchase.

The block-booking discount applies on the basis that the full block is used. If a client chooses to end a block before using all of the hours, sessions already used will be charged at the standard individual-session price that applied when the block was purchased. Any remaining balance will then be refunded.

Any complimentary hours included within a block do not carry a separate cash value.

This does not affect statutory cancellation or refund rights.

4. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and relevant documents in sufficient time for us to provide the agreed service.

Students remain responsible for their educational decisions, meeting application deadlines, checking the accuracy of applications and making final submissions.

5. Academic integrity

Apply UK provides guidance, feedback and support. We will not fabricate information, impersonate an applicant or knowingly assist with dishonest or misleading applications.

Application material must remain an authentic representation of the applicant.

We may stop providing a service if continuing would involve dishonesty or a breach of an institution's rules.

6. Admissions and other outcomes

University, scholarship and other third-party decisions are outside Apply UK's control.

We cannot guarantee admission to a particular university or course, an offer, scholarship, examination result or other particular outcome.

Universities and other organisations may also change their requirements, deadlines and policies.

Apply UK does not provide regulated immigration or legal advice.

7. Your right to cancel

If you purchase a service online or otherwise at a distance, you will normally have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract, without giving a reason.

To cancel, email mark@apply-uk.co.uk clearly stating that you wish to cancel.

If you ask us to begin providing the service during the 14-day cancellation period and then cancel after work has begun, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work already provided.

If you expressly ask us to complete the service during the cancellation period and acknowledge that you will lose your cancellation right once it has been fully performed, that right will end once the service has been completed.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

8. Cancelling or rearranging sessions

Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a scheduled session.

With at least 48 hours' notice, a session can normally be rearranged without charge.

Where less than 48 hours' notice is given, or a client does not attend, we may charge for preparation already undertaken and for the booked time where it cannot reasonably be reallocated. We will take reasonable account of illness, emergencies and other exceptional circumstances.

If a service is cancelled after work has begun, any refund will take account of the work already completed.

Your statutory cancellation rights are unaffected.

9. Associate advisers

Apply UK may use suitably experienced associate advisers to deliver some or all elements of a service. Apply UK remains responsible for the services provided to the client under these Terms & Conditions.

10. Liability

Apply UK will provide its services with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses arising from decisions or actions taken by universities, scholarship providers or other third parties, or from changes to their requirements, deadlines or policies.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, or affects your statutory rights.
